System 7.1 AV CD
Code Names: Quadra 660AV was Tempest
Code Names: Quadra 840AV was Quadra 1000 and Cyclone
This is the System CD that came with 840AV and the 660AV and that has system 7.1 on it.
Hidden Movie
To play it, you can just run Movie Player, SimpleText (or anything that can show movies), Open a new movie, and follow the path to the movie surpise:
- The path is Macintosh CD-Install Me First : System Folder : Preferences Folder : Our Gang!
If you want to copy it onto your drive, it is a little harder.
- Since it is invisible, you need to copy the entire "Preferences" folder to your hard drive.
- Then used ResEdit to make the file,"Our Gang!", visible by Getting Info. on it.
Either way, you can enjoy the hidden movie. If you do, could you let me know what it is, and I'd like to get a copy of it.
There are also said to be a couple of pictures of the development team tucked away in the CD.
